Watch English Movies
One of the best ways to learn English is to watch plenty of English movies. I have tried this. I was very weak in English, but I started to watch English movies. First, I haven’t understood anything they are saying. But then I started to find out about the new words that they were saying, and I continued watching those movies. Then slowly, I began to understand what they were saying. It is an effective method. That is because you are hearing people who are talking in English, which will help you to have a grasp of English. At the same time, the story will also help you to understand what they are trying to say and when to use specific words and sentences.
Memorize Words and Meanings
If you are not an English speaker, then the first thing that you need to do is to memorize all the words and know their meaning. If you don’t know the meaning of any specific words, then you won’t be able to use them in any sentence. So, you must have to know all the vocabulary so that you can use them. The best way to memorize words and their meanings is to memorize ten new words along with their meaning every day.
Real Books and Newspapers
It’s time to read English books and newspapers. That is because when you read English books and newspapers, you will be familiar with new words and see the use of those words. At the same time, you can read an English book that you have already read in your native language; this way, you will be able to have a good grasp of English because you ready know the context, and when you read that in English, you will be able to know how the story goes in English, and how to present something in English.
English Grammar
Knowing words and their meaning is not enough if you don’t know anything about how to use them in a sentence or don’t know how to make a sentence. You have to know the rules of making sentences and how to express your thoughts in English. That’s why you must know English grammar so that you can make proper sentences and express yourself. I am sure you have studied grammar in your school, so if you haven’t masted that, then you should take your textbook and learn all the basic rules of making sentences and how to use them.
Practice
Practice is the most crucial part of improving English. That is because it doesn’t matter how well you know English if you can’t speak it. You have to practice so that you can overcome your difficulties in speaking and writing English. You can practise with your friends or family members. If you aren’t able to speak properly or make mistakes, don’t give up. Try harder and again. You will succeed if you continue.
